Tommy Marshall

Tommy Marshall is the Managing Director of Fernbank Advisors, where he provides strategic advisory services and invests in fintech and fintech services companies. With over 25 years of experience in the fintech industry, Tommy is a recognized leader in driving innovation and fostering growth across the financial technology ecosystem.

Before founding Fernbank Advisors, Tommy was the COO and Co-Founder of myFloc, a subscription-based expense management and payment platform designed to empower older adults and their families by streamlining caregiving, preventing financial exploitation, and reducing financial friction.

Tommy also brings extensive expertise from his 22-year career in fintech management consulting. As a key member of the leadership team at Capco, he helped grow the firm from 200 to over 2,000 employees, culminating in its acquisition by FIS Global. He later joined Accenture as the Fintech Lead for North America, where he bridged early-stage fintech innovators with large financial services corporations to accelerate innovation.

In 2019, Tommy founded the Georgia Fintech Academy for the University System of Georgia and served as its inaugural executive director. This groundbreaking diversity-focused workforce initiative has enabled over 7,200 students to access specialized fintech education and placed more than 2,400 students—primarily from Black and Hispanic communities—into fintech roles.
