Maris Thomas is a retired Certified Public Accountant, an entrepreneur, an investor, and a long-time financial software user with extensive experience in accounting for both businesses and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. She launched her accounting career after raising her daughters, earning her bachelor's degree at the age of 41 and launching her career at Arthur Andersen before embarking on her own highly successful venture as a Financial Navigator (FN) service provider.

Throughout her career, Maris has defined her professional approach with a focus on real-time accounting, rather than historical auditing, and tracking finances by assets and expenses, rather than tax implications. Her technological savvy has allowed her to evolve to meet the shifting expectations of the financial services marketplace.
